We at Retro DJ like to offer our services in aid of certain charities. Although it's not possible to fulfill everyones needs, we still like to do as much as we can.

If you belong to a charity or you are someone who would like to organise a charity event, then we will be glad to hear from you. We can throw a party in aid of your cause and usually with little or no charge.

Summer Party in aid of Cancer Research UK

The Summer Party in aid of Cancer Research UK on Saturday 4th June 2011 at Heywood and Hawkeridge Village Hall, Nr Westbury, Wiltshire was a huge success.

We provided the disco for this event and we have to say it was a pleasure to do.

This event was organised by Lucy Gray at West Wilts District Council and over £3000 was raised in total.

Pudsey Night

Retro DJ performed at The Kings Arms, Hilperton, Wiltshire on Friday 19th November in aid of children in need. We even went live on BBC Wiltshire radio to advertise this event.

We did a disco and managed to raise £80 by charging £1 per karaoke track and by selling raffle tickets.

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who participated in this event.

2010 BPM meeting at the Birmingham NEC

Retro DJ were proud to attend the BPM (beats per minute) at Birmingham on the 3rd and 4th October 2010. Some of the countries top DJ's were there and we seen the latest in DJ technology and lighting.

The DJ industry is moving forward at such a fast pace and any DJ business will be left behind if they are not aware of this which is why we say "We are at the top of our game."

We attended several seminars during our 2 day visit and all so that we can offer you our customers the best service in the business.

During our visit we took some pictures and got some video footage so we can share some of our experience with you. These can be viewed on our gallery tab, so why not take a look!

Nigel Goodwin Charity Walk

Retro DJ sponsored Nigel Goodwin on his 300 mile charity walk in aid of the sri lankan children orphaned by the tsunami. This had personal meaning to him as he went there a year after the disaster and seen the after effects and devastation caused to peoples lives. He left on August 27th and returned on September 15th 2010.
